TAMPA, FL, July 31, 2008. Tampa-based McKibbon Hotel Management, Inc. will celebrate the opening of its second property at Avion Park Westshore on Friday, August 1, when guests are welcomed at the Hilton Garden Inn Tampa Airport/Westshore.

The Hilton Garden Inn has 171 rooms, featuring king and double queen rooms and suites that offer in-room hospitality centers, including mini-refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker; Garden Sleep System adjustable beds; complimentary wired and wireless high-speed internet access with remote printing capabilities; phones with voicemail and data ports; and flat-screen HDTVs with hi-definition cable service. Property amenities include an outdoor heated pool and whirlpool, guest laundry and a modern fitness center. The hotel also features a unique full-service restaurant, coast, tampa's "bay cuisine", which promises a diverse menu with global influences that will invite both hotel guests and patrons of fine dining.

"We want our properties to be destinations that are truly special to our guests," explained CEO John McKibbon. "From the unique architecture to the outstanding service that McKibbon is known for, we strive to make each guest's visit a memorable one. Avion Park Westshore is named after my father's first motor lodge in Gainesville, Georgia, and it's through the foundation of his hard work and dedication that we are able to serve our guests in exceptional ways today. We're excited to bring this unique full-service hotel to the Tampa Airport market."

The Hilton Garden Inn Tampa Airport/Westshore is situated in the heart of the dynamic Westshore Business District at the corner of Spruce and O'Brien Streets. Across the street from the Tampa International Airport and International Plaza Mall, the property is conveniently located within minutes of downtown Tampa and St. Petersburg, and easily accessible to Pasco County via the nearby Veteran's Expressway.

The property is managed by General Manager Stormy McNeil, an experienced McKibbon team leader who previously managed the Residence Inn by Marriott Westshore. The Hilton Garden Inn Tampa Airport/Westshore is the second of three planned hotels at the Avion Park Property, joining the TownePlace Suites by Marriott Tampa Westshore, which opened in June, and the Homewood Suites by Hilton, scheduled to open in December 2008.

A celebration to honor building contractors and opening team hotel associates will begin at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, August 1. Following the ceremony, the hotel will welcome its first guests.
