Elite Meetings Announces Speakers for Upcoming Alliance

SANTA BARBARA, CA, July 27, 2007. Elite Meetings International (EMI) announced today the prestigious lineup of speakers it has assembled for the Elite Meetings Alliance, taking place at Florida's Naples Grande Resort & Club September 9-11, 2007.

The three-day event will kick off with a keynote address by Starwood Hotels & Resorts Senior Vice President Scott Hermes, speaking on the state of the industry. Speakers at two educational breakout sessions include Ed Jones, founder and president of Constellation Communication Corporation, speaking on how to "Create Event Communications that Impress the Company President and Prove Its Effectiveness with ROI Measurement." The second speaker, attorney Joshua Grimes of Grimes Law Office, will give an overview of the "Top Ten Things Your Lawyer Never Told You About Your Hotel Contracts."

On the second evening of the Alliance, professional speaker John Di Frances will address the participants with a topic entitled "People v. 2.0-Understanding Millennials." The closing keynote will be given by Shawna McKinley, executive director of The Green Meetings Industry Council. Her topic: "Building the Business Case for Green Meetings and Their Implementation."

Other crowd-pleasers in attendance will be corporate entertainer and magician Billy Harris and master mixologist Tony Abou-Ganim of Magic Martinis & Mario.
