Hilton Anatole Dallas, TX Appoints Sales Execs

DALLAS, TX, August 1, 2007. Dallas' legendary Hilton Anatole Hotel announces the appointment of Tyler McDonald to director of sales and marketing for the 45-acre property that houses 1,606 guestrooms.

In his new position as director of sales and marketing, Tyler McDonald will lead the development and execution of strategic initiatives in sales and marketing to achieve business and market plan objectives.

McDonald joined the Hilton Hotels Corporation in 1999 as the director of sales and marketing for the Doubletree Hotel at Lincoln Centre (now Hilton) in Dallas. After two years, McDonald seized the opportunity to move to Austin as the director of sales and marketing at the new Hilton Austin, still under construction at the time. As the first full-time employee of the Hilton Austin, McDonald led a team that achieved great success with pre-sale efforts and continues such accomplishments to date. A native Texan, McDonald attended Texas A&M University before embarking on a career that includes notable positions with a broad portfolio of hotels over the past 25 years.

Also the Hilton Anatole Hotel announces the appointment of James Keaveny to director of sales for the 1,606-room property.

In his new position as director of sales, Keaveny will be responsible for planning, soliciting and promoting maximum group and convention business for the hotel. His primary focus will consist of executing the strategies of the overall hotel sales plan through the management of the property's sales team and related budget items.

Keaveny brings with him more than 21 years of sales and marketing experience in both small and large hotel chains, most recently at the Hyatt Regency DFW as director of sales & marketing. In addition to holding several DOS positions, Keaveny joins the Anatole with six years of national sales experience managing group and business travel for many Fortune 500 companies and associations. He has a solid understanding of short- and long-term yield management to maximize RevPAR growth and balance. Keaveny has comprehensive knowledge of how to find opportunities and form strategies while working through extensive hotel renovations. Keaveny attended the University of Colorado in Boulder, Colorado.
