Neptune Hospitality Advisors Arranges $21.6 mil Financing of St. Louis Hilton
SAN DIEGO, CA, August 20, 2007. Neptune Hospitality Advisors today announced it arranged senior financing for the 195-room Hilton St. Louis Downtown. Neptune arranged the $21.6 million five-year fixed-rate loan, with 12-months of interest-only, through an international investment bank.
The historic Hilton is an elegant four star/four diamond hotel located in the historic Merchant's Laclede Building within the heart of downtown St. Louis. The Merchant's Laclede Building was originally erected in 1888 as an office for local area banks and brokerage firms. Designed by the prominent New York architect Steven Decatur Hatch, the Building is the earliest surviving example of St. Louis' formative skyscraper era. The Hilton opened on March 21, 2005, after a comprehensive twelve-month redevelopment program, which skillfully integrated the lodging facility within the historic structure. The Hilton is a 2006 "Connie Award-winning Hotel" as the best overall performing Hilton in all of North America. The Hilton was ranked #1 out of 238 properties in the entire domestic chain through November 2006.
The hotel was acquired by American Property Hospitality Management, an affiliate of American Property Management Corporation ("APMC").
