Luxury Grenada Resort Set to Re-open

AUGUST 21, 2007. After three years of extensive renovations and revitalization, LaSource, a luxury spa resort, is set to open its doors to the world on December 15, 2007.

Nestled along Pink Gin Beach and surrounded by 40 acres of lush tropical garden on the Spice Island of Grenada, LaSource offers a first-class, all-inclusive holiday experience that seamlessly combines the best of an active beach vacation with a relaxed spa retreat. The resort will start taking reservations on September 1, 2007 for travel beginning February 1, 2008. With its unique all-inclusive program, guests over the age of 16 receive a spa treatment each day of their stay and can be as active or laid-back as they choose in their free time.

Those staying at LaSource can enjoy a variety of land and water sports, which include snorkeling, waterskiing, Sunfish sailing, windsurfing, aqua aerobics, Hobie Cat sailing, ocean kayaking, hydro-boarding and scuba diving, among other activities. Certified divers are entitled to one complimentary dive per day during their stay. Additional dives can be arranged at an extra charge. Land activities include tennis, archery, fencing, aerobics and stretch classes, bicycle tours and a nine-hole, par three executive golf course. LaSource also offers a range of holistic activities such as yoga, Tai'Chi, meditation and stress management, with special Master Classes scheduled throughout the year.

After a busy day of activities, guests can find their respite at the Oasis Spa to take advantage of their complimentary spa services. Soothing treatments at the Oasis include Swedish Massage, as well as back and full-body massages, Seaweed Wrap, Salt and Oil Loofah Body Buff, Chandra Massage, a special foot massage, facials and a couples' massage for honeymooners.

To complement the holistic nature of the resort, Cuisine LaSource is globally influenced and designed for healthier eating without sacrificing flavor. Dining options include buffet-style breakfasts and lunches in the Garden Restaurant, a la carte dinners in the Great House Restaurant and both a la carte lunches and dinners at Oscar's Beach Restaurant. Light lunches, snacks and afternoon tea are served in the Caf'e Deli. Guests can visit one of LaSource's three bars - The Terrace Bar, Beach Bar or Piano Bar - for a pre-dinner cocktail or evening nightcap.
