AUGUST 28, 2007. Strip House arrives in Las Vegas at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, bringing its seductive atmosphere and innovative menu to the redesigned resort hotel and casino complex.
Located on the southwest corner of Harmon Avenue and on the Vegas Strip, Strip House opens its doors to steak lovers and adventurous diners.
Strip House's decadent menu seduces the senses with prime cuts of beef charred to perfection in Chef John Schenk's kitchen as well as their signature side dishes: truffled cream spinach, goose fat potatoes, and for dessert, the famed Strip House 24-Layer Chocolate Cake. Strip House, created by renowned restaurateurs Peter, Penny and Mathew Glazier (The Glazier Group) won "Best Steak of the Year" by Citysearch in 2007, was voted one of America's Greatest Steakhouses by GQ Magazine in March 2006 and was named one of the 10 best American Steakhouses by Maxim Magazine in November 2006.
Designed by architectural visionary David Rockwell, Strip House redefines the traditional steak house with a saucy melange of rosy lighting and flocked wall coverings adorned with black and white photographs of scantily dressed women from the original 1900s Studio Manasse collection. Strip House, Las Vegas is 10,000 square feet and seats 200 in the main dining room and 50 in the lounge.
Unique to its Las Vegas location, the design of Strip House introduces many unique elements to reinforce its playful, sexy and vintage atmosphere. LCD screens will display provocative video loops of silhouettes of dancing models "wallpapering" the main dining room and two private dining rooms. In addition, the private wine room has a round table that rotates around a brass pole that extends to the ceiling -- flirting with the true meaning of the restaurant's name -- Strip House.
Strip House has also partnered with luxury lingerie designer, Kiki de Montparnasse to create the Studio Manasse-inspired cocktail dresses, embracing the sensual elegance that flows through every aspect of the restaurant. The coy but classic cocktail mini-dress is inspired by modern menswear and executed with an elegant front and daring scoop back, perfect for revealing their signature satin lace-up corselette bra.
Strip House has locations in New York City, Livingston, New Jersey at the Westminster Hotel, Houston, Naples and Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, and El Conquistador, Puerto Rico.
