Phil Gosch Joins Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck
SEPTEMBER 4, 2007. The law firm of Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck is pleased to announce that Philip A. Gosch is joining the firm effective September 17 as a shareholder in its Denver office. He will serve as co-chair of the firm's hotels, casinos and resorts practice group.
Gosch's practice focuses on real estate and finance matters with an emphasis on the hospitality industry. He counsels clients with respect to the acquisition, disposition, finance, management, franchise and development of hotels and resorts throughout the United States, Mexico and the Caribbean. In his notable career, Gosch has had significant experience in corporate and real estate transactions with valuations ranging from $50,000 to $3 billion.
Prior to joining the firm, Gosch held several hospitality-related executive positions at Wyndham International, Inc. As senior vice president, chief counsel, real estate and finance for Wyndham International, Gosch served as in-house counsel responsible for the real estate, finance and project development aspects of a publicly-owned, branded hotel operating company. Prior to this position, he served as senior vice president, acquisitions and development for Wyndham International where he was in charge of investments in and development of Wyndham International's owned assets. Previously, Gosch was a senior associate with the law firm of Cahill Gordon & Reindel in New York.
A seasoned speaker on legal issues relating to the hospitality industry, Gosch is a featured panelist at The Lodging Conference in September. Gosch is a graduate of the New York University School of Law.
