BERMUDA, September 6, 2005. Culinary tourism is building in strength and as a reflection of this Bermuda is gearing up to host its annual Bermuda Culinary Arts Festival. From 21 - 24 October a host of celebrity chefs from across the globe will head to the Island paradise to showcase their talents in a mouth-watering celebration of the best Bermudian and International cuisine.

With New Yorker Anthony Bourdain - a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America and the executive chef at Brasserie Les Halles in Manhattan - leading this year's line up of gastronomic experts, festival goers will be able to pick up tips from some of the world's greatest chefs and recreate their masterpieces when they return home.

Nine other top names from the world of food will be heading to Bermuda's shores to join the festival, including Todd English - the chef behind the renowned 'Olives' restaurants in the USA - and the superb Michael Lomonaco - executive chef and director of the acclaimed Guastavino's in New York.

A range of activities will be available to visitors throughout the five-day period, including intimate seminars, cooking demonstrations of the ten chefs' signature dishes, themed excursions to local farms and fresh food markets, tastings and delicious dinners.

Furthermore, to ensure that you complement the delicious cuisine with its perfect drinking partner, some of the greatest wine experts will also be on hand to advise guests on the perfect beverage to accompany their dishes.
