Pan Pacific Appoints DOS Americas
SAN FRANCISCO, CA, September 13, 2007. Pan Pacific Hotels and Resorts announces the appointment of Alexander A. Pangelinan as Regional Director of Sales, Americas. The appointment is in line with strengthening the group's sales resources in America, which will support the group's business strategy to augment its growth in its key markets.
Based in Los Angeles, beginning September 10, 2007, Alex will report to Senior Vice President Sales and Marketing Kevin Croley and will head the sales team in America to generate greater sales revenue in this market. His principal responsibilities include the management of key client relationships across North America, fostering strong business collaborations with preferred travel industry partners, in addition to representing the company at client and trade events.
In his twelve years in the hospitality industry, Alex has held various senior positions in sales and marketing. Most recently, Alex was the opening Director of Marketing at Hotel Renew in Hawaii where he oversaw the revenue generation for the Los Angeles and San Francisco markets.
Prior to that, Alex was the Director of Global Sales at the Preferred Hotel Group in Los Angeles, where he was instrumental in driving sales in the corporate, high-end leisure and the entertainment markets from the west coast of the United States. He was responsible for building relationships and securing business through trade shows to drive revenue to the group's hotels.
