Rosewood Appoints Director, Global Agency Sales
SEPTEMBER 19, 2007. Rosewood Hotels & Resorts, the premier manager of ultra-luxury hotels and resorts throughout the world, is pleased to announce that Ellen Gerchick has been appointed as Director of Global Agency Sales.. A hospitality industry veteran, Gerchick has worked for Park Hyatt Hotels as the Director of Luxury Market Sales since 2001 during which time she promoted a new sales division within the global hotel chain, creating systems and databases that helped increase revenues and bring awareness to an emerging brand.
Prior to her role with Park Hyatt Hotels, Gerchick held several management positions at luxury hotel companies such as The Savoy Group and Rezsolutions, which included managing a sales portfolio of high-end properties. Gerchick has spent the majority of her career creating marketing alliances that have helped showcase some of the best brands in hospitality. In her new role as Director, Global Agency Sales, Gerchick will develop and manage partnerships with specialty luxury travel organizations such as Fine Hotels and Resorts, Virtuoso, Andrew Harper Alliance and Signature. Gerchick will also rely on her extensive industry relationships to create additional marketing partnerships.
