Utell Expands in Latin America
Two Chilean Properties Tap Utell® Representation Services for Global Branding
DALLAS, TX, September 17, 2007. Utell Hotels & Resorts, a service of Pegasus Solutions Inc., today announced it has signed two properties from Chilean Resort & Casino company, Enjoy, to its representation and marketing services.
The two five-star properties, Hotel del Mar in Vi~na del Mar, and Hotel del Lago in Pucon, are among a total of five (including three planned) under the Enjoy brand that will benefit from Utell's electronic distribution and international marketing efforts. Given the growth of travel to Latin America, the need to more strategically reach customers has grown for properties such as Enjoy's, according to Piro Hernandez, regional director of Latin America for Utell.
"Enjoy Resort & Casinos currently has no electronic distribution or any sales & marketing representation for these two properties," said Hernandez. Utell has 181 hotels in Latin America and the revenue for these properties has increased 25 percent over the last year.
