New Generation Selected to Manage Holiday Inn

SEPTEMBER 27, 21007. New Generation Hospitality is pleased to confirm that the property ownership group has signed an agreement with the company to assume the management of the Holiday Inn Hotel, Danbury, Connecticut, effective October 1, 2007. Assumption of the hotel contract will not change the Holiday Inn brand affiliation and all current staff has been retained. "The Danbury area is a very dynamic hospitality market, and the addition of this asset to our growing portfolio fits perfectly within our long-term plans here at NGH," said New Generation Hospitality's President, Kevin Mahoney. "We are pleased to be working with this particular ownership group and are excited to be part of their continued improvement and re-positioning plan for this Hotel."

Opened in 1973, The Holiday Inn Hotel, Danbury is a full-service hotel featuring 114 newly renovated rooms, complimentary wireless high speed Internet, an exercise Room, Teddy's Lounge with happy hour and live entertainment Wednesday-Sunday, and Teddy's Restaurant with a cozy fireplace serving breakfast and dinner. The Hotel is centrally located in Danbury between New York City and Hartford, CT, and has easy access off of Interstate 84. The hotel is convenient to many attractions including the Military Museum, Danbury's Railway Museum, Richter Park Golf Course and Candlewood Lake. The property has over 3,500 sq.ft. of flexible meeting space for meetings and social events.
