IHG Announces New Leadership for Crowne Plaza and Extended-Stay Brands

ATLANTA, GA, October 10, 2007. IHG (InterContinental Hotels Group) [LON: IHG, NYSE: IHG (ADRs)], the world's largest hotel group by number of rooms, announces new roles for company veterans Gina LaBarre and Robert Radomski.

Ms. LaBarre has been appointed vice president, Brand Management, Crowne Plaza Hotels & Resorts. Mr. Radomski has been appointed vice president, Brand Management, Extended-Stay Brands. For their respective brands, each is responsible for brand marketing and sales, brand culture, product quality, brand standards, revenue management and development. Both are based in Atlanta and report to Mark Wells, senior vice president, Brand Management, The Americas.

Ms. LaBarre most recently served as vice president, Brand Management, Candlewood Suites, where she led the brand to record-setting growth and performance, with more properties now in the Candlewood Suites pipeline than any brand in the midscale extended-stay segment. Ms. LaBarre is an 18-year veteran in marketing and advertising with a 15-year focus on the hotel industry. She earned a bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of Georgia.

Mr. Radomski most recently served as vice president, Brand Management, Staybridge Suites. In this role, he successfully led the brand management team in achieving the greatest RevPAR growth in the extended-stay segment over the past three years. Mr. Radomski is an 18-year veteran at IHG and has worked extensively on multiple brands including InterContinental Hotels & Resorts, Crowne Plaza, Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn Express and Staybridge Suites. He received his bachelor's degree in Communications and Business Administration from California State University Fullerton.
