TIG Global’s Online Marketing Efforts Spotlihghted at Clinton Global Initiative for the Fight A

. October 14, 2008

WASHINGTON, DC, October 9, 2007. TIG Global, the largest Internet marketing firm in the DC metro area (www.TIGglobal.com), devotes its expertise to STOP Neglected Tropical Diseases. In partnership with Sabine Vaccine Institute (www.sabin.org), TIGG will lead the online drive to eliminate the 13 global diseases of poverty known as "Neglected Tropical Diseases" (NTDs), which currently affect 2.7 billion people. TIG Global will create and execute on several online marketing fronts to drive citizens to the STOP NTDs website (www.STOPNTDs.org) in an effort to increase awareness of the program, raise money via donations, and to encourage concerned citizens to sign the STOP NTDs petition to accelerate government funding for the cause.

"With the great fortune and opportunities we have in the U.S., it is imperative that we do what we can to improve the lives of those born into disparate circumstances," said Frederic Malek, CEO of TIG Global. "The opportunity to protect millions of people from life-altering disease is sitting on our doorstep. I hope our involvement in this campaign will encourage other businesses to adopt and support this and similar causes. Even the smallest donations reap invaluable returns on investment by saving millions of lives."

NTDs refer to the 13 disfiguring and life-threatening, parasitic and bacterial infections that are rampant in less developed countries. These diseases blind, disable, and kill billions of people each year, promoting a cycle of poverty that affects generations. The NTDs campaign is headed by the Sabin Vaccine Institute and is a priority of the Clinton Global Initiative, a non-partisan catalyst for action that strives to implement innovative solutions to some of the world's most pressing challenges.

"NTDs are diseases of poverty that afflict the poorest of the poor - over one billion people. That's more than HIV/AIDS and malaria combined, said Alyssa Milano, actress and the Founding Ambassador of the NTDs program. "NTDs can be controlled or eliminated affordably, effectively, and safely for just fifty cents per person, per year."

TIG Global Applies Dynamic Internet Marketing Strategies and Support for Other Noteworthy Causes

Komen Race for the Cure. TIG Global uses in-house talent to develop engaging and persuasive websites - designed to raise awareness, and ultimately to fundraise.
