OCTOBER 18, 2007. Over the last two years, Windsor Hospitality Group hasvery methodically worked to fulfill its resolution to renovate every hotel intheir 30-property portfolio. After a carefully-executed campaign, WHG andthe team at their Embassy Suites Lynnwood are proud of this most recentproperty to complete its reinvention.

"Our renovation included all 240 guest suites, all the public areas, thebusiness center, our exercise facility, some of our meeting space and the newflooring in the restaurant," lists General Manager Rene Ramos. "The entirehotel has changed, both in the look and functionality in the rooms and publicareas."

"First you will notice we went from a pink, mauve and emerald green colorscheme to a very up-to-date look with soft greens and golds and warmbeiges," says Director of Sales Julie Horrigan.

"The renovation in the suites literally started from the dry wall and includedreplacing all wall treatments, carpeting and furniture," she says. "We added anew wet bar with a new microwave and refrigerator. The lighting is also brandnew."

Not to neglect the creature comforts, Horrigan adds, "In the parlors in thesuites, we added 27-inch flat panel televisions, ottomans, a work station onwheels and a wheeled desk chair. In the guestrooms, we have the newEmbassy Suites bedding package."

All of the suites' bathrooms were updated with new wall covering as well, along with fashionable new granite countertops and bow-shaped shower rodsthat create significantly more space in the showers than traditional curtainrods.

"WHG doubled the size of our Fitness Center and added new Precorequipment. Those pieces are three treadmills, two elliptical crosstrainers andone recumbent cycle," says Horrigan. "Our Business Center now features twoworkstations with a complimentary internet access and printer use. We alsooffer remote printing capability from the guest suites. In our complimentaryservices area, we have added movable breakfast buffet units and a new 60-inch flat panel television."

This primarily corporate market has a strong weekend leisure travel business.Across the board, from corporate travelers to vacationers, everyone seemsto appreciate WHG's renovations at their Embassy Suites Lynnwood.
