Softbrands Selects Anyrate

To Provide Competitive Intelligence Solution

OCTOBER 18, 2007. SoftBrands, Inc. (AMEX: SBN) a global supplier of enterprise application software, today announced its Karyon reservations and distribution service will use AnyRate Software competitive rate intelligence solution to provide independent hoteliers, groups and management companies with a competitive rate tool.

Karyon customers will benefit by automatically receiving access to the Karyon Competitive Intelligence module as part of their Karyon subscription. "We understand the advantage our members gain by including competitive intelligence reporting to all of our customers as a standard part of our overall offering. This further expands the scope and value of the Karyon DSP solution," said Gregg Hopkins, vice president and general manager of Karyon.

Karyon customers will receive a series of weekly reports that will provide the most current information available on the pricing of their property versus key competitors for future arrival dates and help identify potential opportunities to increase revenue for their property. The Karyon Competitive Intelligence reports will provide multiple report views and various analytical reports in easy-to-use Excel report packages, delivered to all Karyon users via email or internet access.
