Benchmark Appoints CPA Controller for Turtle Bay Resort HI

HOUSTON, TX, October 21, 2007. Benchmark Hospitality International has announced the promotion of Renee Brenner, CPA, to controller for Turtle Bay Resort. Bob Boyle, Benchmark's vice president and general manager for the property, which is located on the North Shore of O'ahu, Hawai'i, made the announcement.

"We are very proud of Renee's accomplishments here at Turtle Bay Resort," said Mr. Boyle. "She has proven herself to be the top candidate for her new position and we are privileged to have her on our leadership team."

Renee Brenner originally came to Turtle Bay Resort as assistant controller. She brought with her a unique understanding of working for destination properties, having served on the management team of La Posada de Santa Fe Resort & Spa, a Rock Resort in Santa Fe, New Mexico; Furnace Creek Inn & Ranch Resort in Death Valley, California; and Grand Canyon National Park Lodges, Grand Canyon, Arizona. She began her professional financial accounting career as an auditor for Ernst & Young.

Prior to this, Ms. Brenner worked in hospitality as a restaurant manager for a large restaurant chain based in Austin, Texas.

Renee Brenner earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing from Northern Illinois University, and her Masters Degree in Professional Accounting from the University of Texas. She resides in Kahuku, Hawai'i.
