Hyatt Regency Woodfield Makes Management Changes

SCHAUMBURG, PA, Ocotober 25, 2007. The 470-room Hyatt Regency Woodfield in Schaumburg, which recently became a Portfolio Hotels & Resorts managed hotel and will undergo a multi million dollar renovation in 2008, is pleased to announce the appointment and promotion of seven executive committee members.

New Appointments

Tracy Daly has been named Director of Human Resources. Having more than ten years experience in the field, she was previously the Director of Human Resources at the Sofitel Chicago O'Hare hotel, and has also worked in human resources at Sedgwick of Illinois (now Marsh & McLennan). Daly attended Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio and St. Xavier College.

Jeanne Hahn was recently appointed Director of Sales and Marketing. Prior to joining the Hyatt Regency Woodfield, Hahn was with the Sofitel Chicago O'Hare hotel for seven years where she most recently held the position of Director of Sales and Marketing. Previous to this, she was the Associate Director of Sales, the Business Transient Sales Manager, Corporate Sales Manager and the One Stop Sales Manager. Hahn was also previously with the Abbey Resort in Fontana, Wisconsin, and has a Bachelor of Science degree in public relations from Illinois State University.

Iraj Jalie has been named Director of Finance. With more than 20 years financial experience in the hotel industry, Jalie was most recently Area Controller of Kokua Hospitality in Chicago. Prior to this, he was the Financial Controller of the James Hotel in Chicago and was also with the Sofitel Chicago O'Hare hotel. Jalie has a bachelor of accounting degree from the Institute of Advanced Accounting and a Master of Science degree from Roosevelt University.

New Promotions

Stacey Hickman has been promoted to Director of Revenue Management. Having been with the Hyatt Regency Woodfield for the past seven years, she has held numerous positions at the hotel including Senior Catering/Convention Services Manager, Associate Director of Catering and Convention Services, Corporate Sales Manager and Convention Services Manager. Hickman holds a Bachelor of Science degree in recreation, park and tourism administration from Western Illinois University.

Gary Irps has been promoted to the Director of Food & Beverage. Previously he was the Director of Catering and Convention Services at the Hyatt Regency Chicago Woodfield and prior to that he was the Senior Catering Manager of Marriott's Lincolnshire Resort. With a business management degree from Kankakee Community College, Irps was named the "2007 Volunteer of the Year" by the Schaumburg Business Association. He has more than 20 years experience in the industry.

Nicholas Katinos was promoted to Director of Rooms. He has been with the Hyatt Regency Woodfield since 2005, and previous to this, he was the Assistant Rooms Executive of the Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort, Spa and Casino. He has also held various positions with the Hyatt Regency Bethesda, Hyatt Regency Grand Cayman and Grand Hyatt New York. A graduate of Johnson & Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island, Katinos has a Bachelor of Science degree in hospitality management.

Thomas Volpe has been promoted to Director of Facility Management of the Hyatt Regency Woodfield Hotel. He has been with the Woodfield hotel as Director of Engineering since 1996. Previously, he was the Director of Engineering for the Hyatt Lodge Hotel in Oak Brook. He was also with the Hyatt Regency O'Hare.
