La Quinta Opens First Franchise in Mexico

Additional Franchised Growth Expected Throughout Mexico Market

DALLAS, TX, October 31, 2007. La Quinta Franchising, the top franchise organization in the hotel industry, announced that the first ever franchised La Quinta hotel in Mexico opened on October 25th in Juarez, Mexico, at a gala opening event that included leaders of Mexican business, tourism and leading U.S. diplomatic officials based in Juarez.

Wayne B. Goldberg, La Quinta's President and Chief Operating Officer said, ""We are pleased to welcome this wonderful new hotel, on a great occasion for our friends in Juarez and for all us at La Quinta." The new La Quinta Inn & Suites is centrally located near the business district at Ejercito National 8211, Col. Partido Iglesias. The hotel is within walking distance of the new American Consulate building in Juarez, and is within easy reach of local businesses representing such companies as AMAC, Deloitte & Touche, and New York Life. It also offers easy access to the Cibele Salon & Convention Center, and the new Las Misiones Mall and shopping center.
