Terri Haack, Chairman of the Charleston Area Convention & Visitors Bureau, was pleased to note that one of the reasons the Charleston area has developed a strong presence in the rankings over the past several years is because there are so many aspects of its appeal. "There truly is something for everyone," she said. "Looking for golf and beaches? We have that. World-class shopping, fine dining, and spas? We have that too. Fishing and boating - check. The friendliest people to welcome you and help you find your way? Yes, we certainly have that as well."
