Dublin CA Radisson Sold

. October 14, 2008

SAN FRANCISCO, CA, November 8, 2007. PKF Capital has arranged the sale of the 234-room, full-service Radisson Hotel located in Dublin, California. PKF Capital represented the seller, Dublin Continuum, LLC. The buyer was Trevi Partners LP and RB Hospitality.

The seller was a member of the Clark family, who's grandfather, James D. Harvey, had the foresight to develop the hotel over 30 years ago just as the Tri Valley area was beginning to expand rapidly. "The hotel was one of my grandfather's most prized assets," stated Charles Clark, "and along with the Earl Anthony Bowling Center which we sold a few years ago to the Earl Anthony family and Ted Hoffman, it will hold a special place in all our hearts."

The buyer is led by local real estate entrepreneur Mike Madden and his hotel firm, RB Hospitality. The company, which developed the luxurious Rose Hotel in Pleasanton, adds the Radisson as its third hotel asset in the market and its first full-service offering. "The Radisson is a perfect complement to our other local hotel holdings," remarked Mike Madden. "We are very excited about this acquisition. The property is in solid shape, and over the next year we plan on undertaking several projects that will improve the overall customer experience."

The sale of the Radisson marks the 3rd full-service, East Bay hotel transaction by PKF Capital over the past year. The company arranged the sale of the Crowne Plaza Pleasanton in the fall of 2006, and followed up with the sale of the Crowne Plaza Concord in the summer of 2007.

The 3-story Radisson Dublin was built in 19722 and features an indoor pool and spa, 6,000 SF of meeting space, full-service restaurant, fitness room and business center. Located along the I-580 Freeway near I-680, the property benefits from easy freeway access along with proximity to shopping, business parks, and area attractions.
