R Collection Hotels Expands Portfolio With Two New Italian Mountain Retreats

R Collection Hotels, owned by the Rocchi Family, announces its expansion into two distinguished mountain destinations with the official grand opening of two prestigious leisure hotels: Montana Lodge & Spa in La Thuile and Grand Hotel Courmayeur Mont Blanc in Courmayeur. Both properties are 5-star boutique retreats nestled along the northern border between Switzerland and France.

This expansion signals R Collection's commitment to further penetrate the boutique luxury segment by adding 5-star properties to its portfolio. The brand remains steadfast in offering guests boutique luxury accommodations in the most exclusive destinations in Italy boasting authentic character and exceptional service across wellness, hospitality and culinary offerings. A key feature of all R Collection Hotels are the strategic locations. Montana Lodge & Spa, located close to the majestic Monte Ruitor, and the Grand Hotel Courmayeur are both situated in two different locales with unparalleled views of the peaks of Mont Blanc. Both hotels boast design and architectural elements that harmonize seamlessly with the surrounding nature and mountains.

The Grand Hotel Courmayeur, managed and owned by the Collection, has 72 elegantly furnished rooms enriched with precious contemporary furnishings. Two polished food and beverage outlets, La Fourchette restaurant and the Equinox Lounge Bar, feature a terrace overlooking a stunning panorama of Mont Blanc. The ERRE SPA covers 5,382 square feet with an indoor heated pool, sauna, Turkish bath, chromatic and sensory showers, private SPA, and a Technogym gym.

Montana Lodge & Spa, managed by the Collection, features 55 rooms and is marked by a contemporary design and innovative materials with a charming traditional Valdostano touch. The property offers two restaurants with refined Italian cuisine using the freshest local ingredients, the Bistrot and the Ottavio Lounge, in addition to a cellar housing 300 wine labels for intimate tastings. The ERRE SPA, a flagship feature of the Collection, offers an array of amenities as follows: indoor heated pool, outdoor hot tub, sauna, Turkish bath, Vitarium bio sauna, private spa area, and a gym with Technogym equipment.
