Aquarius to Launch Room Renovation Project

NOVEMBER 29, 2007. The Aquarius Casino Resort is proud to announce the first phase of a nearly $20 million room renovation project to begin in early 2008. Leo A Daly, one of the leaders in design and architecture, has been retained to develop the interior design, which will further position the property as the most impressive resort in Laughlin.

"When finished, this project will complete the final transformation of the former Flamingo Laughlin to the Aquarius Casino Resort. The transformation began with a $40 million renovation of the overall property theme and brand, as well as extensive casino upgrades made before the official launch in November 2006," said Rick Charles, senior vice president and general manager of the Aquarius Casino Resort. "This remodeling project will cement the Aquarius Casino Resort as the premier destination for the Laughlin visitor."

The remodeling will include 32" LCD flat panel televisions, lounge chairs, ottomans, designer lamps, TV chests and artwork. Changes will also include details such as accented wall coverings on the headboard walls in addition to designer carpets and drapes, as well as top-of-the line bed linens and accessories. The bathrooms will be outfitted in a cherry wood vanity with granite countertops, designer sinks and accessories. The renovations are scheduled to be completed in May 2008.

The Aquarius Casino Resort remains the largest gaming resort in Laughlin with 1,907 rooms in two 18-story towers and a 57,000 square-foot casino. Situated on approximately 18 acres, amenities include six restaurants, 35,000 square-feet of meeting space and a 3,300-seat outdoor amphitheater.

The central component of the Aquarius is the new casino layout that includes the addition of 1,200 new state-of-the-art slot machines. Aquarius features marquee machines including the Wheel of Fortune Super Spin machine, which was exclusive to Aquarius Casino Resort until spring 2007.

The casino features easy access and outstanding amenities for avid players including the most comfortable chairs in the marketplace. The A.C.E.
