Principal Hayley Renames Three Acquired Hotels

LONDON, UK, November 29, 2007. Leading 4 and 5 star hotel and conference venue group Principal Hayley have renamed the three hotels they acquired from a group of private investors in October this year.

The lb50 million-plus deal, which will complete on 30th November, saw the Group acquire the Sheffield Marriott Hotel, the Renaissance Derby Nottingham Hotel and the Renaissance Solihull Hotel. Today the new names have been unveiled as:

o The Sheffield Marriott Hotel becomes Kenwood Hall

o The Renaissance Derby Nottingham Hotel becomes The Derbyshire Hotel

o The Renaissance Solihull Hotel becomes The St Johns Hotel

Commenting on the renaming, Group Sales and Marketing Director John Ryan said "Principal Hayley has recently undergone a rebrand with the introduction of a new name and logo and an increased emphasis on appealing to the discerning 4 and 5 star conference market. All the properties and venues within the Principal Hayley Group are individual in style and we wanted our new hotels to more truly reflect their own unique characters, whilst at the same time uniting under the Group's brand values of exceptional levels of customer service, respect of local culture and customer innovation."

Individual property brochures will be rolled out over the next six months and a new website, www.principal-hayley.com incorporating the three new hotels will be launched in the New Year.

The Principal Hayley portfolio currently includes 20 contemporary and luxurious properties offering a combined capacity of over 3400 bedrooms, 450 meeting rooms and the ability to host over 20,000 delegates per day.
