Renovation Partially-Funded by Hamilton Non-profit Organization

HAMILTON, OH, December 13, 2007. Concord Hospitality Enterprises, one of the nation's top-ranked hotel developer/owner/operators, today announced that it has begun an $11.1 million renovation of the company's recently acquired Hamiltonian Hotel, located in Hamilton, Ohio. Following completion of the renovation, the property will reopen as a Courtyard by Marriott in the 2008 fourth quarter. Concord, which has managed the property since 2005, purchased the hotel from the Hamilton Community Foundation (HCF) in October. HCF is partially funding the renovation through a low-interest loan.

"Renovation of this landmark hotel will further enhance the value of this real estate asset for Hamilton," said Haydn Kramer, Concord's vice president of operations for the hotel. "More importantly, we believe that this hotel and its renovation and conversion will act as a catalyst for additional development and re-development in downtown Hamilton. We anticipate a substantial increase in the hotel's occupancy as a result of the Marriott branding and the Marriott rewards programs. This, in turn, should bring additional retail and dining businesses to the neighborhood, making the downtown area more vibrant and welcoming, which will attract more people. The new Courtyard by Marriott Hamilton aligns perfectly with Concord's vision of providing quality hotels that benefit their local communities."

Built in 1985, the Hamiltonian has been an integral part of the city of Hamilton since its opening more than 20 years ago. The hotel's downtown riverfront location has made it a prime site for major events, and it has become a part of the city's history through the weddings and celebrations it has hosted.

The renovations will include a reconfiguration of the current seven banquet rooms to more than 5,800 square feet of top-of-the-line meeting and banquet space, a refurbishing of the 120 guest rooms, the addition of an indoor swimming pool and an Italian bistro with a specialty in fine wines. Exterior enhancements will capitalize on the property's riverfront location by integrating dramatic views of the Great Miami River and providing access to the amenities of the adjacent RiversEdge development, while retaining the hotel's architectural integrity.

"This renovation is tangible evidence of HCF's total commitment to Hamilton," said said Craig Wilks, HCF Properties, LLC board chair. "The presence of a Courtyard will significantly upgrade the lodging offerings in the city and provide a warm and inviting place for visitors and locals to meet for both business and social events. This is a strategic investment in the future of the city."
