Hilton Signs with METRO Hotels for 221-Room Hampton by Hilton Santiago Las Condes in Chile

SANTIAGO, CL. and MCLEAN, VA. August 15, 2017 – Hilton's (NYSE: HLT) Hampton by Hilton brand, the global mid-priced hotel known for providing travelers with its signature Hamptonality service, today announces the signing of Hampton by Hilton Santiago Las Condes in Chile. Slated to open in 2021 and owned by METRO Hotels development group, the 221-room hotel signs as the brand’s largest property in South America and the second Hampton property signed as part of the strategic alliance with METRO Hotels in Chile.

“Our team has continued to strategically focus on Hilton’s growth in Latin America, particularly introducing new brands in key destinations such as Santiago to bolster our presence in prime markets,” said Fabian Rodriguez Suarez, Hilton’s managing director of development for Brazil and the Southern Cone. “As the brand’s second project in Chile, Hampton by Hilton Santiago Las Condes will continue the momentum to undoubtedly deliver value as well as thoughtful and efficient service to our guests.”

Hampton by Hilton Santiago Las Condes will be part of a mixed-use complex with residential and retail components. The new metropolitan hotel will comprise of 16 stories and 221 vibrant, spacious guestrooms with expansive views of the city. All rooms will boast Hampton's reliable amenities such as complimentary Wi-Fi, coffeemaker and HDTV. For business travelers looking for an efficient stay, the hotel will provide one meeting room with high tech audio/visual capabilities and a 24-hour business center as well as a state-of-the-art fitness center overlooking of the picturesque Las Condes neighborhood from the 16th floor.

Situated at Manquehue Norte 245 in Las Condes, Santiago, the hotel will be located in Nueva Las Condes, the city’s thriving business district and home to the country's economic elite. Guests can visit Parque Araucano, a renowned park across from the district’s main shopping center Parque Arauco, just steps away from the hotel. The Manquehue Metro station is also located nearby less than 200 meters away, providing convenient access to public transportation.
