Cliff House Maine Appoints Dawn Page as Director of Spa & Wellness for Opening of The Spa at Cliff House

As part of the resort¡¯s reimagination, The Spa at Cliff House opens today boasting lavish treatments inspired by the traditions and natural treasures of the sea, along with an expansive fitness center and retail space for guests to enjoy year-round.

Cliff House tapped seasoned industry veteran, Dawn Page, to oversee The Spa at Cliff House in her role as Director of Spa & Wellness. Page brings a strong background in luxury wellness and spa therapy leadership to Cliff House. Her expertise in spa management has been cultivated through extensive experience at top tier spas across multiple states and countries.

The new spa entails 9,000 square feet of vibrant, restorative spaces that emphasize unrivaled luxury, comfort and state-of-the-art technology. With creative consultation from Blue Spas Inc., The Spa channels ¡°wild and free¡± elements of coastal Maine, incorporating the dramatic interplay of water, stone, sky, and sand into its treatments. Partnering with celebrated amenity partners, The Spa features exceptional products within its treatments and retail space. The Spa is accessible to guests of the resort as well as day visitors and local residents.

Ethereal Design

Cliff House Maine enlisted the help of the New England design firm, TruexCullins creating a space intently designed to serve as a gathering place on the cliffs, offering meaningful experiences for a sense of wellbeing and a powerful reconnection with self, nature and others. Guests find the atmosphere to be relaxing, rejuvenating and satisfying.

Through a combination of playful, fresh and modern expressions The Spa pays homage to Maine¡¯s distinctive traditions, natural beauty and laidback spirit. The expansive spa houses seven single treatment rooms, one adjacent double signature suite treatment room, five standard facial and massage rooms, a full-service salon, a state-of-the art fitness center and movement studio, and cliffside spa sanctuary, as well as two multi-purpose rooms with showers.

Divine Offerings and Services

The Spa pairs time-honored techniques with lavish local products in an array of treatments for unparalleled renewal through a circuit of saunas, steam rooms and aroma showers. Serving as an oasis for guests to unwind and recharge, The Spa features a wide range of message therapy sessions such as the Seacoast Rose, Salt of the Sea and Elemental Harmonizer massages. Focusing on the ¡°wild & free¡± mantra of The Spa, unique skincare and body treatments consist of vitality ritual, customizable hydration experiences, bio-rejuvenating facials, Cliff House nail treatment, and much more.

The salon is comprised of four manicure and pedicure chairs, a make-up and brow bar managed by accomplished stylists and nail technicians. Guests can unwind before a treatment in the luminous cliff side sun lounge sanctuary that serves as a transition zone within the treatment area corridor.

A blend of spa and yoga treatments such as breathing, stretching, meditation, treatment therapies and regimens, teas, juices, shakes and nutritional resources all work in tandem within The Spa¡¯s wellness center to create a well-balanced, enjoyable spa experience.

Luxury Spa Suite

Located adjacent to The Spa, the 600-square foot luxury Signature Spa Suite is one the most stunning and exclusive accommodations at the resort on the ocean level at the top of Bald Head Cliff. The suite boasts two treatment tables, drench experience shower for two guests and a built-in lounge nook with fireplace. This signature suite accommodation features a bedroom with king-size beds and a living room with a full/double sleeper sofa. In the not-too-distant future, when guests arrive at a hotel, they will check themselves in using a kiosk in the lobby, by- passing a stop at the front desk. When they call room service to order food, it will be from a hotel mobile tablet, practically eliminating any contact with friendly service people. Though these inevitable developments will likely result in delivered to their door by a robot.
