Younes Hospitality to Develop Two Candlewood Suites in Nebraska

January 11, 2016 - InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) announced the signing of two new Candlewood Suites hotels in Nebraska, U.S., with Younes Hospitality. Both hotels are owned by Paul and Linda Younes and will be the first Candlewood Suites hotels in their respective cities, Grand Island and Kearney.

Paul Younes began his career in the hospitality industry at a motel in Kearney, Neb., and is now President of Younes Hospitality, which currently owns and operates six IHG hotels in Nebraska across the Holiday Inn® and Holiday Inn Express® brands. Younes Hospitality was named the winner of the Candlewood Suites Developer of the Year Award at IHG's Annual Owners Conference.

Both hotels will be new build developments with 88 suites, including 54 studio suites, 24 one-bedroom suites and 10 two-bedroom suites. The Candlewood Suites Grand Island hotel will be located on Allen Drive, near the St. Francis Medical Center and the Conestoga Mall. The Candlewood Suites Kearney hotel will be located on West Talmadge Street, close to the Younes Conference Center and the Viaero Event Center.
