The Lodge and Spa at Callaway Gardens, an elegant interpretation of a traditional mountain lodge in the heart of Middle Georgia, welcomes the newest addition to the team, Leslie Brown, as catering sales manager. Brown's duties as catering sales manager include overseeing catering forecasting and monthly production expectations, monthly revenue and catering progress reporting, social and corporate catering, as well as coordinating all weddings and special events. The Lodge and Spa at Callaway Gardens is part of the Autograph Collection, an upscale ensemble of uniquely independent hotels within the Marriott International, Inc. global portfolio.

With a strong work ethic and attention to detail, Brown has a proven track record of success as her experience in the catering industry began in 1992 as the Director of Catering and Banquets at ARAMARK in Houston, TX where she managed all catering and banquet functions for the George R. Brown Convention Center, Wortham Center and Jones Hall. Brown's additional noteworthy positions include, Manager at Melange Catering in Houston, TX, where she managed the delivery department for all corporate lunches as well as events at the Museum of Fine Art and Natural Science, Personal Maître d' Hotel at The British Consulate in Houston, TX and most recently, Conference Services Manager at Vail Resorts in Breckenridge, Colo. where Brown planned all aspects of various types of ski groups as well as corporate, government, religious and educational conferences.
