AUGUSTA, GA. - April 28,2015. After undergoing an extensive $6 million renovation, including a comprehensive overhaul of all 144 guest rooms, bathrooms, verandahs, a new restaurant concept and a carefully trained staff geared to a four diamond service standard, Augusta's iconic Partridge Inn has re-opened its doors to the public.

Atlanta based, Partridge Inn Holdings LLC., the hotels ownership, worked extensively to restore the historic hotel to its original grandeur. "After a busy four months of gutting, painting, hammering, re-carpeting, re-designing and upgrading all aspects of the hotel, we look forward to re-introducing Augusta's celebrated landmark back to the community," said Rick Patton, Managing partner and Principal of Partridge Inn Holdings , LLC. "We hope that the newly-trained staff, upgraded accommodations and revitalized food and beverage experience will exceed Augustans expectations of The Partridge Inn."

With the majority of the renovation complete, guests to the hotel will be greeted with new guest rooms with beautiful design accents including the use of rich, deep-toned woods, richly-textured fabrics, neutral colors and a modern, timeless design throughout the hotel. Outdoor improvements include updates to the over one-quarter-mile of verandahs and balconies encircling the hotel as well as a new exterior color of ivory white.

Northpointe Hospitality Management, LLC., the company managing the hotel, worked with world-wide service and renowned training company, Fresh Revenues, to go through intense and in-depth training events that will ultimately cement a four diamond culture of service throughout the hotel. Additionally, all associates were formally pre-screened with new, cutting-edge technology that ensures each person hired matches NorthPointe Hospitality Management's core values. "This process was undertaken so that The Partridge Inn will be Augusta's premier hotel, not only in terms of appearance, but also in providing the highest level of service and hospitality," said Gregory Winey, President of Northpointe Hospitality Management, LLC.

The historic hotel, which originally opened in 1910, has always played a big part in Augusta and the community's history. The hotel's management company is confident that the renovation will ensure it remains an integral part of the city. "We look forward to being that "go to" place for Augusta visitors and locals once again," said Bill Mish, General Manager of The Partridge Inn. "The Partridge Inn looks forward to celebrating special occasions, creating lasting memories and continuing our tradition of exceptional service to neighbors and guests."

Shortly after the opening, The Partridge Inn will operate under Hilton Worldwide's new Curio brand. Throughout the renovation design, amenity and service decisions have been made to align with the Curio standards. In May 2015, Phase two of the renovation will begin on the public spaces like the fitness center, meeting room, gift shop and coffee shop and they will be renovated true to Hilton Curio standards. The Partridge Inn's award winning restaurant, The P.I. Bar and Grill, will reopen under a new Executive Chef and culinary team for breakfast, lunch and dinner service.

About The Partridge Inn

The Partridge Inn began life in the 1890s as a modest two-story private residence, opening as The Partridge Inn in 1910. The hotel enjoyed such great success, that expansion after expansion led to its present city-block size in 1929. The hotel gained prominence as a central gathering spot for the winter elite, hosting golf legends, presidents and legendary tea-dances in its grand halls and ballrooms, while the ground floor housed a post office, telegraph office, flower shop, bookstore, barbershop and hairdressing parlor. Over the next few decades, The Partridge Inn reigned as the epicenter for social activity and out-of-town guests. But time eventually took its toll, and the aging hotel faced total demolition in 1978. She found a white knight in Sam Waller, a local attorney and preservationist who was determined to save the cherished Augusta landmark. Shortly before he passed away, Waller successfully defended the building against being torn down; he then sold it to Partridge Place Associates, a partnership formed to completely restore the hotel. The Partridge Inn reopened in 1987, continued to prosper and receive recognition for its restoration. Under new ownership and management, The Partridge Inn has just undergone a $6 million renovation to restore the historic hotel to its original grandeur.
