Spring Renewal Brings Fresh New Features to Whiteface Lodge

. March 24, 2015

March 24, 2015 - Whiteface Lodge will reveal a fresh new face this season, as the award-winning all-suite resort prepares to undergo a soft goods upgrade that will introduce new design details and top-of-the-line technology to its Adirondack-inspired guest suites. On April 6, the resort will close its doors for 10 days to allow Lake Placid's own Ann Stillman O'Leary, an expert in authentic Adirondack style, to spearhead a modernization of its living space. Drawing from a palette of rich earth tones and natural materials, O'Leary's improvements will encompass:

  • New custom built sleeper sofas with memory foam queen mattresses
  • New club style chairs of recycled leather with matching ottomans
  • New upholstered chairs
  • Luxury carpet throughout each suite
  • Faster internet for streaming
  • Smart Blu Ray players activated in every room

The results of the $800,000 upgrade will be revealed with Whiteface Lodge's April 16 reopening and completed in all 94 Suites by mid-May. New bedding, window treatments and other appointments will follow in 2016.
