Jefferson Washington Hotel to Undergo Major Renovations

Liquidation sale being conducted by NCL/National Content Liquidators, Inc.

MARCH 30, 2007. The Jefferson Washington Hotel has closed for an extensive renovation project. To clear the way for those renovations, NCL is conducting a liquidation sale of the hotel's 100 guest rooms and suites. The liquidation sale opened Thursday, March and will continue daily, Monday-Saturday, 10:00 am-7:00 pm and Sunday, 12:00-5:00 pm.

The Jefferson, considered one of the Capital's most exclusive hotels, is known for its rare collection of manuscripts signed by Thomas Jefferson. The hotel is located four blocks from the White House at 1200 Sixteenth Street NW.

The sale features Kittinger mahogany furniture as well as furniture by the following manufacturers, Lexington, Drexel and Baker. There are hundreds of Audubon prints, chandeliers and sconces, commercial kitchen equipment and much more. The Hotel will retain all Jefferson memorabilia; it will not be included in the liquidation.
