Jeff Johnson Named VPof Marketing & Sales for The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs, CO

Colorado Springs, CO - September 26, 2014 - Vice President and Managing Director of The Broadmoor, Jack Damioli, announced today that Jeff Johnson is joining The Broadmoor as Vice President of Marketing & Sales. Johnson will oversee all marketing and sales efforts for The Broadmoor, and The Broadmoor's growing Wilderness Experience portfolio, including The Ranch at Emerald Valley, Cloud Camp, and soon, Fishing Camp, a private fly fishing property and Seven Falls, a historic landmark attraction, both opening in the spring of 2015.

Mr. Johnson comes to The Broadmoor with more than 30 years of experience in hospitality brand management, marketing, and sales. His experience includes 13 years as the Vice President of Sales & Marketing at the AAA Five-Diamond Phoenician Resort in Scottsdale, Arizona, directing the pre-opening sales, marketing, and launch strategy for the resort and five years as the Vice President of Marketing for The ITT Luxury Collection, leading global marketing initiatives for the brand's 54 hotels in 22 countries.

Johnson also served as Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Destination Hotels & Resorts where he was responsible for brand-wide strategic marketing initiatives, including advertising, brand management, and public relations. He later brought his experience in luxury brand management and marketing to launch Montage Hotels & Resorts. Over 12 years with Montage, he was responsible for the company's hotel, resort and residential marketing efforts. This included brand development and positioning strategies and new property launch planning, including advertising, online, electronic and partner marketing, promotions, leisure sales and public relations, and communication strategies. While there he was instrumental in the launch of Montage -Laguna Beach, CA, Montage Beverly Hills, CA and Montage, Deer Valley in Park City Utah.

Most recently Johnson served as a Chief Strategist at HyperDisk Marketing, a leading digital marketing agency which creates marketing solutions for internationally recognized hospitality brands, such as Starwood Hotels & Resorts, Hilton Hotels & Resorts, and Trump International.
