Eduard Dimitriu , Spa Director

Eduard Dimitriu has been named Spa Director of the The Spa at Gleneagles by ESPA. Boasting over 12 years of experience in award-winning resorts, Eduard brings his wealth of knowledge, impeccable track-record and spa expertise to ensure that Gleneagles continues to deliver outstanding service to its guests.

Eduard's career began as a member of the medical team implementing sports recovery and rehabilitation programs for various Romanian Olympic and national athletes. He then transferred his skill and expertise to the private spa industry and has since worked in various prestigious spas and world-renowned hotels including The One&Only Private Spa, The Palm, Dubai; The Europe Hotel & Resort Ireland; and Kempinski Hotel Adriatic, Croatia. His success within the industry has resulted in numerous accolades including the Conde Nast Traveller Spa Awards and the World Travel Awards.

Jean-Philippe Dupas , Strathearn Head Chef

Jean-Philippe Dupas joins the hotel's food and beverage team as the new Strathearn head chef. Jean-Philippe's passion for creating the finest foods combined with his creativity and 13 years in the industry makes him the ideal candidate to create the seasonal, classic French/Scottish dishes for which the Strathearn is renowned

Jean-Philippe's training in the heart of France positions him as an expert in modern French cuisine. He has worked in Michelin-starred kitchens across France and most recently led a team of 14 chefs at the Royal Mirage five-star resort in Dubai.

Andreas Porias , Front of House Manager

Andreas Porias joins Gleneagles as the Front of House Manager. His 12 years of industry experience gained at five-star properties including The Dorchester, The Lanesborough and Raffles Brown's Hotel make him an excellent addition to the Gleneagles team so that the resort continues to provide first-class hospitality to its guests.
