June 13, 2013 - Hampton by Hilton Located in Cluj-Napoca, a popular tourism destination, the new build 109 guestroom hotel is the brand's first hotel in the country. Since then and against a backdrop of growing tourism arrivals to the country, we are delighted to have grown our portfolio to five hotels across the country. This latest opening introduces our value led brand to the region, providing an attractive base for those venturing into Transylvania, well known for its medieval castles, mythical legends and incredible scenery."

The city also features much of the region's commercial and industrial enterprises, which are within walking distance from the hotel along with classical architecture of landmarks such as St Michael's Church. Ease of access is guaranteed with Cluj-Napoca International Airport just eight kilometres away; whilst cross border rail services also support the city. Employing 21 team members, Hampton by Hilton Cluj-Napoca will set a new standard in the quality of affordable accommodation available to visitors to the area

Hampton by Hilton Cluj-Napoca will provide guests with complimentary internet access and hot breakfast included in the room rate. A 24-hour snack area featuring light dishes is on hand for those dining on the go, whilst the hotel's welcoming and spacious lounge provides a sociable venue to enjoy cocktails and snacks. Business travellers will be able to enjoy access to a 24-hour work zone facility and fully equipped meeting room on site, offering a contemporary venue capable of hosting up to 35 delegates.

Guest rooms at Hampton by Hilton Cluj-Napoca will be equipped with the Clean and Fresh Hampton BedTM, contemporary bathrooms, 32-inch TVs and secure safes as standard. Visitors will be able to collect Hilton HHonors points throughout their stay, a hotel rewards programme that offers points and miles for the same stay and no blackout dates to redeem rewards at over 3,900 hotels worldwide.

Hilton Worldwide now operates five hotels in Romania, with Hampton by Hilton becoming its third brand to have a presence in the country. Last autumn saw the opening of DoubleTree by Hilton Oradea, bringing internationally branded accommodation to the city for the first time.
