Hyatt Re-introduces Holistic Program

. October 14, 2008

SEPTEMBER 12, 2006. Following the success of the Neuromuscular Integrative Action fitness sessions in January 2006, Hyatt Regency La Manga will re-introduce this four-day holistic fitness programme from 25-28 October.

The promotion and staging of innovative fitness breaks has become a key initiative for Spa La Manga Club, where international specialist teachers and practitioners are flown in from around the globe to teach the latest exercise techniques. Neuromuscular Integrative Action (NIA) is a creative form of holistic fitness combining yoga, tai chi, dance and martial arts, based on the philosophy that both physical and mental training are essential for personal wellbeing. This cardiovascular program is suitable for people of all ages and levels of fitness.

Susie Gale, a participant at the first NIA event in January, commented: "This exercise discipline works on one's emotions as well as toning the body and everyone felt so much calmer, happier and focused. And slimmer!"

During her cosmopolitan career, La Manga's spa director Marianne Nielsen has spent several years in New York where NIA is heralded as 'the next big thing' in physical and mental wellbeing. It was there that Marianne secured the services of experienced health coach and personal trainer, Sabine Itze-W"arn, a leading instructor in this holistic exercise technique. Sabine will lead the classes in English.

The program will consist of four 90 minute sessions (either morning or afternoon) and include unlimited four-day access to the facilities at Spa La Manga Club. Participants will also receive a 10% discount on spa treatments.
