ORLANDO, FL - February 29, 2012 - Grand Bohemian Hotel Orlando is proud to welcome acclaimed Chef Laurent Hollaender to the award-winning Boheme Restaurant at Grand Bohemian Hotel Orlando as the new executive sous chef. With a passion for culinary excellence, Hollaender will assist The Kessler Collection's director of culinary development and executive chef of The Boheme Restaurant, Rene Nyfeler.

“Grand Bohemian Hotel Orlando and the entire Kessler Collection are delighted to have such a talented chef join our team,” said Grand Bohemian Hotel general manager, David Friederich. “We are excited to share his creativity with our guests at The Boheme Restaurant.”

Chef Hollaender brings extensive culinary experience and knowledge to The Boheme, with more than 30 years in the culinary field and hospitality industry. Hollaender has worked in several notable kitchens, including the celebrated Lombardy Restaurant at the Hotel Lombardy located in Washington D.C.

Hollaender's outstanding culinary knowledge stems from his childhood where he spent many years working for his family's successful catering business. Chef continued to pursue his passion for creating fine cuisine at culinary school in Alsace, France, and later served in the French military as a private chef to high-ranking generals. Additionally, Hollaender served as Sous Chef at La Colline Restaurant in Washington D.C. and L'Actuel Restaurant in New York City.
