CHICAGO - February 15, 2012 - Located in Chicago's River North neighborhood, within the heart of the city's restaurant and nightlife hub, ACME Hotel Company is set to open May 2012. Formerly a Comfort Inn & Suites, located on 15 E Ohio Street, the new boutique hotel alternative will offer hip design, a high-tech vibe and approachable accommodations meant to blow your mind, not your budget. The hotel, the result of a $3 million plus refresh, is owned and operated by Neighborhood Development Corporation (Gene Kornota and Anthony Klok), the same creators responsible for the dana hotel and spa.

Walking into the design-centric ACME Hotel, guests will enter a wood-beamed, domed entry with check-in immediately to the right. Further down the hallway, guests will be greeted by the stylish ambiance of the hotel's bar and lounge space. The gritty yet chic space features two-story walls framed in industrial-style lighting illuminating the space. Through a series of arched walkways located on both the right and left sides of the space, distinct lounge seating will be placed along the surrounding walls.
