ALEXANDRIA, VA - July 28, 2011 - Alexandria's West End neighborhood recently welcomed a new upscale lounge and restaurant at the Washington Suites Alexandria Hotel. Jeff Beaudoin, long time restaurateur with a career that includes executive positions with Capitol City Brewing, Lucky Strike Lanes, and Johnny Rockets, opened The Lounge Restaurant, his latest dining spot at the Washington Suites, one of Greater Washington's leading all-suite business-class hotels located at 100 S. Reynolds St. near Landmark Mall.

From its rich dark wood paneled walls and porcelain-tiled floors, to the solid Russian pine dining tables, The Lounge evokes the feel of an upscale neighborhood bar/restaurant. A menu filled with traditional American favorites will tempt the most discerning appetite. Chef Alan Curry, a 23-year veteran and graduate of New England Culinary Institute has created several familiar dishes, as well as many new favorites such as meat ball sliders, fried pickle spears, a trio of hummus, and homemade spinach dip.
