. November 18, 2010

Franklin, TN - November 17, 2010 - Greg Presley, a 24-year veteran in the hospitality industry with experience in more than fourteen different hotel brands, today launches GR Hospitality Group, a new hotel management company with headquarters based in Franklin, Tennessee. GR Hospitality Group recently acquired its first hotel in the Southeast and has multiple new contracts in the works.

“I have had the incredible opportunity to work with many great hotel organizations over the years and I'm excited to finally have this dream become a reality,” said Greg Presley, chief executive officer of GR Hospitality. “We've worked hard to create a business model that works in the current industry in order to build a strong and successful portfolio.”

Prior to forming GR Hospitality Group, Presley was with Chartwell Hospitality in Franklin, Tennessee where he oversaw 14 hotel assets which included overall operations of the properties plus all sales and marketing functions. In addition Greg worked with brand leadership, investment partners, acquisition teams, developers, architects, and contractors to successfully open and acquire more than ten different hotel assets. Over the course of his twenty-four year career in the hospitality industry, Presley has garnered a multitude of accomplishments including several Opening Hotel of the Year Awards by Marriott International, and various Senior Leadership Industry Awards with Marriott, Hilton and other brands.

GR Hospitality Group will focus its acquisitions on leading Focus, Select, independent and full service hotels with owners looking for quick and long lasting financial results to enhance the value of their property. In addition, GR Hospitality Group will seek out non-profitable hotels where they can implement their expertise, philosophies and balanced scorecard metrics to quickly increase sales and profits from a consulting arm.

“We work directly with small business owners and banking institutions in order to quickly step into a trouble situation, take over as a 3rd party manager, and bring back the value of the asset for the stakeholder,” said Brian Beatty, chief development officer for GR Hospitality. “We then work to stabilize the hotel and start adding immediate value using our processes and systems. I am excited to bring my financial background to this growing organization and work with the hospitality industry through these endeavors.”

GR Hospitality has partnered with LET Group www.letgroup.com who will be a key marketing consulting partner within the industry. Additionally, they have partnered with Community South Bank plus many investors who are excited and eager about coming out of the recession.

“We've strategically aligned ourselves and will continue to do so with key industry partners, investment groups and banking institutions to assure we grow with the right hotels at the right time the best way possible”, said Presley. “We plan to maintain a unique and flexible operations platform allowing us to grow quickly with great results.”

GR Hospitality has borrowed its motto, “taking care of business”, from the late Elvis Presley, cousin to CEO Greg Presley. For GR Hospitality, “taking care of business” means simply taking care of people - guests, associates, business partners and communities.

“My success has been a result of taking care of people, whether it's a guest, an employee or owner,” said Presley. “Elvis was a passionate person that was known to be a giver. I can't sing, but I'd like to think that he and I share a similar heart when it comes to work ethic and service to others.”
