Shenzhou Peninsula to Open Two Starwood Resorts in Hainan in 2011

Shanghai, China - November 2, 2010 - Recently, Shenzhou Peninsula Resort has announced the official opening of two luxury resort hotels of Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. - Sheraton Shenzhou Peninsula Resort and Four Points by Sheraton Shenzhou Peninsula. Set to be open to the public in Q1 2011, these two luxury hotels along with the official opening of Shenzhou Peninsula Resort aim to create a brand new luxury experience.

Located on the natural peninsula of Hainan island's eastern shore, Sheraton Shenzhou Peninsula Resort and Four Points by Sheraton Shenzhou Peninsula are both under the management of Sheraton Hotels and Resorts, and are both Starwood's most well-known brands. Opening to the public at the beginning of 2011, the Shenzhou Peninsula Resort is fully equipped with luxury leisure facilities, including the 36 holes golf course - called The Dunes including 5 practice holes, which was designed by the renowned designing master Tom Weiskopf, a yacht club offering you a splendid time by the sea, picturesque luxury seashore-view villas and apartments, and also resort-style commercial centers with dining, leisure, entertainment, business and shopping facilities. The two hotels also enjoy Shenzhou Peninsula's convenient transportation system and are only 60 kilometers from the permanent site of the Asia Bo'ao Forum and 25 kilometers from the Xinglong hot springs. After Hainan's Eastern high-speed railways begin running at the early 2011, travel from Shenzhou Peninsula to Sanya will only take 20 minutes, and 40 minutes to Haikou.

These two brand new resorts on Shenzhou Peninsula offer beachfront locations consisting of four kilometers of white sandy beaches and beautiful bay views. A total of 645 spacious guest rooms and suites are able to appreciate the natural seashore and lush green scenic views from their over-sized private balcony or gardens.
