Doubletree to Open Full-service Hotel Near Mexico City Airport

To Debut in Q3, 2011; Represents Second Doubletree by Hilton Mexico Development Deal Signed This Year

October 7, 2010 - Hilton Worldwide announced the signing of a franchise license agreement today with Operadora de Hoteles y Restaurantes ITER, SA de CV to open a Doubletree by Hilton hotel near Mexico City Benito Juarez International Airport. The Hotel ITER Internacional Aeropuerto Terminal 2 will reopen as the Doubletree by Hilton Mexico City Airport Area, and the brand's second hotel in the country in Q3 of 2011 upon the completion of a major renovation and refurbishment project. The Doubletree by Hilton, Mexico City Airport Area marks the brand's second hotel development deal signed in the country this year. The Doubletree by Hilton, Merida was announced earlier this year and is due to open in the spring of 2011.

The Doubletree by Hilton, Mexico City Airport Area is located 10 minutes from Terminal 2 and 15 minutes from Terminal 1 and is opposite two of the most popular shopping malls in Mexico City - Parque Tezontle and Plaza Oriente. The upscale, full-service hotel will offer 96 deluxe guestrooms and suites, 700 m2 of superior conference and event facilities, a specialty restaurant & lobby bar, a state-of-the-art fitness facility, 24-hour room service and complimentary airport shuttle service.
