Key West Inn Hotels Adds Two Properties

. July 30, 2010

July 28, 2010 - The coastal themed hotel chain Key West Inns has added two Southeastern locations bringing the brand total to 23. The new hotels are located in Scottsboro, Alabama and Pensacola, Florida. Both hotels are conversions from other brands. Scottsboro was previously a Comfort Inn and the Pensacola hotel was the Hospitality Inn.

This is the third addition to the chain in recent months. Company President Neal Jackson sees conversion hotels as a big part of continued success.

“We are very pleased to add these quality hotels to the Key West Inn brand,” Jackson said.

In 2006, Key West Inn began accepting high quality conversion hotels. Since then the chain has seen several additions including Baxley, Georgia; Athens, Alabama; Piedmont, Alabama; Southaven, Mississippi; and Key Largo, Florida.

“With the Key West Inn franchise program, owners are driving money to the bottom line which is a direct result of our competitive fee structure and strong reservation system,” Jackson said. “Hotels are struggling to survive so saving 20 to 50 percent on franchise fees is drawing a lot of attention.”
