Stonebridge Companies, headquartered in Englewood, Colorado, opened a new Marriott property, the Residence Inn, on March 11, 2010 in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. The new Marriott is the country's first Beacon Generation 8, a designation that takes Marriott Residence Inn amenities to the next level.

Glenwood Springs, CO, March 12, 2010 - Stonebridge Companies, located near Denver, Colorado, continues its expansion into the lodging market in western Colorado with the opening of a new hotel, The Residence Inn by Marriott, on March 11, 2010 in the mountain-and-river town of Glenwood Springs. This Beacon Generation 8 extended-stay product is situated on Red Mountain and offers soaring views of the valley and Colorado River.

The Residence Inn by Marriott is a four story, 88,000 square foot all-suite hotel with 124 units. Studios, one bedroom or two bedroom suites are more spacious than typical hotel rooms. Luxury bedding including plush mattresses, crisp linens, custom comforters and piles of pillows are standard, and each room is equipped with a 37-inch flat screen TV. Public spaces at the Marriott Residence Inn have been designed to enable guests to interact for both business and leisure. The lobby has a communal table, free high speed internet, study pods, a double-sided fireplace and a 55-inch flat screen TV. Outside, guests can play a pick up game of basketball, tennis, volleyball or racquetball on the all purpose sports court.
