LEXINGTON, KY - March 6, 2010 - NTA Secretary/Treasurer Nick Calderazzo of RMP Travel has been appointed to the U.S. Travel and Tourism Advisory Board, which serves to advise and develop plans for the Obama administration on issues of travel and tourism. A 33 year travel veteran, Calderazzo has actively served the travel industry through volunteer work including his current spot on the NTA Board of Directors and will become NTA chairman and CEO in 2012.

Seven other NTA members also will have a voice in influencing travel and tourism policy for the Obama administration on the 2010-11 U.S. Travel and Tourism Advisory Board. Members appointed include Rossi Ralenkotter of the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, Holly Agra of Chicago's First Lady Cruises, Stephen Perry of the New Orleans Convention and Visitors Bureau, Dana Stroud of Mammoth Lakes Tourism and Recreation, David Kong of Best Western International, John Klein of Chelsea Property Group and Jeremy Jacobs of Delaware North Companies, Inc.
