Exec Chef Kurt Zuger Also Director of F&B for Colorado's Westin Westminister

WESTMINSTER, CO - (January 21, 2010) - The Westin Westminster is pleased to announce that it has promoted Executive Chef Kurt Zuger to also serve as Director of Food & Beverage, making him responsible for all food and beverage operations at the 369-room hotel.

Before joining The Westin Westminster in Spring 2009, Mr. Zuger was the Executive Chef at The Wigwam Golf Resort & Spa in Litchfield Park. He previously worked at The Buttes, A Marriott Resort in Tempe, Arizona, the Scottsdale Princess Hotel in Scottsdale, Arizona and the Arizona Biltmore Resort & Spa in Phoenix.

“Kurt is a tremendous leader and has already had great success in finding synergies in the hotel's dining and banquet operations,” said Westin Westminster General Manager Dani Stern. “We're looking forward to raising the bar even higher in 2010.”

Chef Zuger oversees the menus and operations at The Westin Westminster's more than 30,000 square feet of state-of-the-art meeting and banquet space, as well as the hotel's highly acclaimed restaurant, O's Steak & Seafood. With a contemporary elegant decor, O's features exceptional cuisine - including Certified Angus Beef and fresh fish flown in daily from both coasts - served in a beautiful airy space that includes a large outdoor patio complete with a fire pit and gorgeous views of the majestic Rocky Mountains.

In early February, O's will introduce a new menu that includes several delicious additions, including crispy striped bass, roasted cauliflower and mushroom ravioli and zuppa di pesce.
