Debra Allen Appointed as DoS for Stuart Courtyard Marriott

STUART, FL (January 22, 2010) - Debra Allen was recently named Director of Sales for the Courtyard by Marriott in Stuart, FL. The 120-room Courtyard, which opened in January 2009, is professionally managed by Waterford Hotel Group, a national hotel management firm operating 25 properties in 9 states.

As Director of Sales, Allen will be responsible for the total sales effort of the hotel, including developing and maintaining new accounts, supervising sales related personnel, and implementing sales and marketing strategies so as to maximize profits of the hotel while maintaining guest satisfaction.

Allen joins the Courtyard Stuart team with a hospitality sales background spanning more than 12 years. Her early hotel experience includes sales management positions at the St. Tropez Hotel in Las Vegas, NV and the Residence Inn by Marriott in Princeton, NJ. Since relocating to Florida, Allen has served as Senior Sales Manager for the Homewood Suites by Hilton in Orlando, and as Director of Sales for the Crowne Plaza Resort in Orlando and Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott in both Jupiter and Boca. She most recently was a consultant for numerous hotels in the Lane Hospitality company's portfolio.
