This 20-year veteran of the casino industry comes to Palm Springs, CA most recently from the Ameristar casino in East Chicago, Indiana where he was the Vice President of Player Development, overseeing a number of other departments, including marketing, as outlined by the company's corporate team. Dan says he got started in the Las Vegas casino industry back in 1987. Looking to extend his horizons beyond his family's San Francisco restaurant business, London put in an application with the Las Vegas Tropicana to be part of its national marketing team. The property's vice president of marketing at the time circumstantially happened to be friends with two people who were also family friends of London's. Dan's name came up in conversation with the friends, a Catholic Priest and a Jewish odds maker. Both suggested to the marketing vice president that he hire “Danny.” Several weeks later, Dan London was offered the position of San Francisco Branch Manager for the Las Vegas casino. London quickly developed business by providing highly personalized guest service in a booming and competitive casino environment.
Dan London says he is happy to be back on the West Coast after the winters in Indiana. In addition to much more mild winters, he says he is looking forward to offering the best guest service in the Palm Springs Valley for gamers.
