First Finish Adds Staff

New talent provide added resources to growing firm

COLUMBIA, MD, January 19, 2010 - First Finish, one of this regions' premiere general contracting firms, has recently added the following staff members.

Jeff Shaheen

has joined First Finish as a Program Manager for its federal government division. With nearly 25 years of industry experience, he previously worked as a Senior Program Manager at Gilbane Building Company where he completed projects for the Department of Homeland Security and Washington County Health Systems. Shaheen holds certificates in OSHA 30, Corps of Engineers QC Certification, First Aid and CPR/AED. He also received training in Lean Construction, Mission Critical Delivery, ISO 9000 and 14000, and took part in numerous quality initiatives for the automotive industry. Shaheen earned a BS in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Wayne State University in 1994.

Bruce Cranford
Project Manager whose responsibilities will include overseeing hospitality renovation projects, maintaining quality control, high level customer service, and sub-contractor relations. Cranford's responsibilities also include managing groups of sub-contractors, tradesmen and laborers in the execution of projects from start to finish. Cranford, who has more than 20 years of industry experience formerly worked for Atlantic Builders Group Inc.

Christina Pitts
Project Coordinator will be responsible for bid assistance, job set up and close-out, vendor negotiation, freight management, and product tracking. Pitts will work in conjunction with project managers and site superintendents to ensure successful completion of multi-million dollar projects. With more than 15 years of industry experience, Christina most recently served as an Assistant Project Manager for ARA Construction located in Annapolis, MD where she supported field staff including four project managers and three estimators, initiated all new projects and wrote subcontractor contracts.

Tom McCoy,
Estimator responsible for commercial construction projects from 500k to 15m including commercial budgeting and constructability analysis. McCoy worked for Centennial Homes as a Director of Operations and at Lennar Corporation as a Regional Director of Purchasing prior to joining the First Finish team.
