Lou Carrier New COO of Thewit Brand

DECEMBER 1, 2009 - Lou Carrier has been appointed to the position of Chief Operating Officer of Chicago's AAA Four Diamond theWit Hotel brand. In this position Carrier will be responsible for overseeing all operational, marketing and brand-centric development initiatives of the emerging brand for owner/developer, the ECD Company.

Carrier's experience is diverse and extensive. After completing his hotel management education he was recruited by then-Stouffer hotels and assigned to their flagship property, the Mayflower Hotel in Washington, D.C. After nine years he joined Loews Hotels and was selected to open and manage the Hard Rock Hotel in Orlando. Later becoming Executive Vice President of the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Las Vegas. Carrier also created the highly acclaimed BOKX 109 American Prime restaurant brand in the Boston area which continues to be one of the most successful and talked about venues in the market.
